Web Development has taken on a wider definition than it first had. Originally, web development was limited to merely creating the website, and possibly ensuring that it had content that was updated on a regular basis. Now, that definition has been expanded to mean the production of the content, as well as ensuring that the site gains regular views. This is a good thing and a bad thing for advertisers. The good news is that they have the opportunity to attract a wider audience to their business.
